Description
So here's my OC, Lacey Highwater. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the character, she comes from a (yet unnamed) fictional, Steampunk-inspired world. She's somewhat of a feminist character, and would be considered tomboyish compared to the more "proper" way that women are supposed to be portrayed in her era. She has a steam-powered motorcycle of sorts, which she uses to get around. Her full back-story and additional characters aren't fully developed yet, but I hope to further develop her world/story in the future. She would be the main protagonist/hero of the story, though!
I haven't drawn her for a while, and felt that I wanted to update her look slightly, while keeping the feel of the original. I made her belt more functional, instead of just being a flashy way to hold the key to her ride! I tried out some new stuff with the colouring technique, which I'm thinking of doing a lot more often now, since I like the result! To see some of my older pieces (with varying quality) featuring Lacey, click here: [link]
Special thanks to for all his help throughout the process; especially with his help in fixing an issue in the pose, during the early stages of the piece!
Used bits of this tutorial, to make the map in the background: [link]
Anyways, I hope you dig the piece!

Edit: Thanks for the DD! I really appreciate it!
As sort of a way of saying thanks, I thought I'd upload the process for this piece.
