Lacey Highwater process

As a sort of way of saying thanks for the DD yesterday, I thought I'd post my process for making the piece, for anyone who wanted to see it. One thing I forgot to mention in the process, but I did, is I flipped the picture horizontally a lot; especially throughout the sketching phases...It made it much easier to catch mistakes that I would overlook otherwise! Also, I used Paint Tool Sai throughout 95% of making the character. I used Photoshop to make the map, and to create a gradient from green to orange, which I overlayed on the character on low opacity.
